We are seeking a Restaurant/Pub Assistant Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for providing customers with a memorable dining experience.
Position Reports to: General Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assists General Manager in ensuring and leading all employees to provide outstanding service.
- Interview, hire, train, coach and develop personnel.
- Understands, enforces and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results.
- Responsible for administrative and operational paperwork, including new hire paperwork, sales reports, payroll documents, attendance records, labor reports, and more.
- Resolve conflict, and manage terminations.
- Make deposits, and ensure safe security.
- Controls costs within the restaurant and maintains adherence to policy and procedure.
- Plans, organizes, prioritizes, coordinates and implements daily work schedules.
- Assist the General Manager with inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
- Ability to perform and train in each position.
- Oversee guest services and resolve issues.
- Ability to operate all restaurant equipment.
- Implement restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory.
- Assist General Manager in maintaining appropriate staffing.
- Maintains a clean facility at all times.
- Ensures that federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances are practiced and enforced.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Other tasks or duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of previous management experience in food service or other related fields.
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Education:
- High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. College studies in business related subjects preferred.
